We did a Good Friday Service where we set up prayer stations around the church. We deliberately kept the service quite sparse, starting and ending with some sung worship with time in between for people to walk around the church and visit some prayer stations we had set up - namely life, sacrifice, forgiveness, love and hope.
I'm always moved at this time of year, reading the accounts of Jesus's death and resurrection really is a wake-up call sometimes. Gives you time to stop and reconsider things.
